Become a Volunteer!

Help us to create in Boyle Street. We have many volunteer opportunities available, including working events, maintaining the facility, learning new skills and so much more. There are many ways for you to be a part of an exciting, community-based organization that gives a voice to a unique and growing community

Volunteer Roles

By working as a Volunteer at CO*LAB, you have the opportunity to try and learn a multitude of new skills while engaging with your local arts community. These roles include but are not limited to:

Front of House
You will take tickets to greet our community and introduce them to our space.

By making sure our guests have fun while also being safe, CO*LAB is able to create a new source of revenue to provide accessible arts events to the community. As our Bartender, you will be responsible for ensuring that everyone is served safely and the bar is opened and closed correctly. (Tips included)

Production Team
Help us set up and tear down a show! Learn the ins and outs of live sound production with opportunities to learn how an event runs behind the scenes.

Back Door
Enjoy the music from one of the best spots in the house. By keeping an eye out for us, you are helping us ensure that we can run our events in a safe, respectful way to the Quarters/Boyle Street neighbourhood.

Gallery Assistant
Our Community Gallery is one of the best ways for CO*LAB to showcase local artists here in Edmonton. As our Gallery Assistant, you will be responsible for showing our guests around the gallery and any questions they might have. You will also be our point of sale for when guests would like to purchase a print of some of the work featured in our gallery.
