Community {Arts} Laboratory (CO*LAB) is a grassroots, arts-centered community venue with a focus to cultivate and sustain exposure to the arts for those living within Edmonton’s central communities, including Boyle Street, McCauley, Central McDougall, Cromdale, Chinatown, and Queen Mary Park.

Join us for August’s edition of Boyle St. Arts Night! RAD Nite is going to have a group of amazing people discussing some important issues to us at CO*LAB. Stay tuned for more info!

We asked this month’s guest curator to describe their vision for this event: “RAD Nite is supposed to be an opportunity for leftists to meet one another, celebrate, discuss tactics and share their stories about activism. I hope it’s an opportunity to listen, and learn about best practices in dismantling the systems of oppression; to really SEE each other, in person which is vitally important. It’s important to know that there’s people fighting against the same opponents and have opportunities to come together to share different experiences as well as shared struggles. There will also be live music from Sol Del Norte and a karaoke party to end the night on a high note.”
